cool factor
apparantly hanging out with victor is raising my cool factor, and who doesn't like that?!
so what's been happening in la vida de meghan? lots! my cousin christine and aunt jeanne from texas came up to visit last week on and came up to the house on thursday when we had a power outage from 230p from 430a...awesome. but they stayed anyway and we had fun. at some point during that week...on maybe wednesday night, i went up to cc to visit kel and hung out w/ her and victor, jose, and ange, that was fun. or...i don't know i went up twice, one night i went up and drank a weeeeee bit 0:-) that was fun.
friday my mom, my aunt, christine, alex, and i drove down to my aunt dorothy's house and had dinner there, then 9 of us (aunts, cousins, grandma) went into nyc (in a limooo! surprise happy 21st birthday christine!) and stopped at a bar so she could get her first (legal) drink! funnn for her. then we saw the play "little women" and it was really good!! i wasn't sure how it was going to be but we all enjoyed it, then back to my aunt's house for sleeeeping. saturday we all met up for breakfast then headed home.
i went to mass on saturday night then drove up to CC and hung out in kel's apartment w/ her and victor and ange, went home on sunday morning and kristin came over the house! we went to go see 'a series of misfortunate events' - it was pretty good but kind of odd...but good. back to my house for dinner and tv time, and saying goodbye to kristin, she left earrrrly in the morning to ohio and i won't see her til may, sad.
today i drove down to teaneck w/ my mom and we spent some more time w/ jeanne and christine. chris my mom and i went to the garden state plaza....the best mall in the WORLD. well no, but at least in new jersey. i loooooove it. and i bought some fun clothes yay!
sooo that's the basic update i guess. back to school in about 8 days :( well for the RA retreat but actual classes don't start for a while...i think the 24th? whatever the tuesday is.

well it's been a while since i updated so i'll just give you some highlights and be on my way...since 1) it's 2am and i'm tired, and b) there's no way you want to sit through every day of what i've been doing, nor do i want to write all that. so here we go.
christmas was fine, i wrote about that, good stuff, had a family party, also fun, can't complain.
last thursday(that'd be 12/30), vicky drove to my house in the afternoon and we drove out to bloomsburg, pa to lisa's house! kristin met us there and we hung out in the house for a while before heading out to dinner at Harry's, a restaurant that lisa's cousin owns...really nice place, good atmosphere and they served me beer. yaaay! then we headed over to the movie theatre to see "the aviator" - so excellent. i loved it! go see it! show me the blueprints, way of the future!
then we headed back to the house and brought out stuff up into the cabin and settled in for the night and just hung out and played catch phrase...oh and got totally freaked out b/c there was a radio downstairs that somehow turned on, and it scared the crap out of us all. then we just went to bed and were up early the next morning to meet mrs. katerman and some other family members at Cracker Barrell for breakfast, which was soooo gooooooood and yummy, i love eating there! lis had to leave for a hair appointment so vicky and kris and i went over to wal-mart for some things and went back up to the house and chatted w/ mrs. katerman and lisa's brother, eric, for a while. lisa came back with new hair! yay! and mrs. katerman took us out to lunch at Town Perk which was really nice. then we took a trip (sans mama katerman) to the liquor store and lisa took care of us while we sat in the car and made fun of people and talked about baby names.
then off to Oips to order our dinner food and bring it back to the cabin, up to the house to play ping pong and hot tub, back to cabin for the start of new years eve funness! opened our christmas presents (so much great stuff, my friends are the bessst), watched "napoleon dynamite" (HECK YEAH, k bye.) and let the good times commence! lots of fun and craziness, another fabulous new years eve. happy 2005!!
drove home the next day and then went over to vicky's house (shes' leaving for europe again on wed so i had to spend time w/ her!!) and we went w/ suzy and mrs. lombardi to see "oceans 12" - yaaay matt damon and brad pitt and so much fun! it was really good but when it was over we had to talk for about an hour just to figure out what the hell happend at the end.
ummmm yesterday vicky and i had Steve McQueen/Paul Newman day! we watched "butch cassidy and the sundance kid" and "bullitt", and then "the towering inferno"...long day of hot man movie watching, very enjoyable.
drove home, slept late today, worked out, met up w/ kel, kris, and vic to see "finding neverland" (i think i have to stop going to the movies for a while....but all the ones i've been seeing have been so good!!) and it was greattttttt johnny depp rocked so hard. and he had a scottish accent. hot. then i went out to eat w/ kel, ang and jonny (not depp, sadly.) and then back to the dorm to hang out for a while! fun, then i drove home and here i am.
